Self-confidence is the level of purity of mind. Increasing Confidence level is about removing the worst thoughts that decrease our self-confidence. Most people will have a brain filled full of negative thoughts. They will continuously input the negative thoughts like “I can’t” or “I am not worth it.” or “I am lazy” etc and that why they fill lack of confidence about yourself.

In a previous blog, we discuss the assertiveness, And we discussed the Importance of self-confidence.  Here we will discuss the 5 proven steps to increase or build self-confidence.

So, Let’s dive in;

Here is the list of steps,

  1. Get rid of Excuses
  2. Use the picture power [Visualize]
  3. Don’t fear of failure
  4. Hypothetical your mind to your appearance
  5. Keep and appreciate your past success.

 

Let’s dive in each of them,

 

1. Get rid of Excuses

Most people hold themselves by making untrue and unjustifiable excuses. As a Chinese proverb asserts;

He who does nothing but sit and eat, will wear away mountain (of wealth).

Here are some excuses that every single person make daily;

  • ‘I haven’t had the right education’
  • ‘I am too old.’
  • ‘I am too young.’
  • ‘I suffer from poor Health’
  • ‘I am not Lucky.’
  • ‘I am never in the right place at the right time.’
  • ‘I am not lucky.’

These all are the excuses that every people make on a daily basis. If you want to increase confidence level then you should eliminate this first. Never, I mean never make excuses.

Get rid of excuses is the key to achieve higher level of self-confidence

Solution:-

Try to eradicate or demolish every single excuse from your vocabulary like words ‘I can’t ‘ or ‘I am not’ etc.. Try to replace it with positive ones like ‘I can’ or ‘I am’ or ‘I will’. It is okay to predict the future to get rid of excuses. In other words, you should change your belief system.

2. Use the picture power [Visualize]

Here is one expression;

“What we think about, we become.”

Here simple key thing is, visualize yourself as the person that you want to be or Dream person. Clearly visualize it what you want to be, where you want to stay, who are around you, and the most important question is “WHY YOU THINK ABOUT IT.”

The more you think about it, the greater certainty will be of a positive result.

Remember, This can work in a negative way also.

Think about what you want, no about what you don’t want. If you are continually allowing your thoughts to relay on the illnesses and bad health, you will experience that you think about. So building confidence by using the brain’s picture-power image process.

3. Don’t fear of failure

Here is the Chinese proverb;

If you do not enter a tiger’s den, you cannot get his cubs.

Put your mind in the hypothetical situation and think about the worst scenario of your actions and try to eliminate it in your mind. If you are facing new opportunities in this competitive edge, you Must don’t feel fear of failure. If you feel it, you lose your opportunities and worst is others will become successful.

4. Consider your appearance

Be realistic. It is okay to invest some money on the outlook of your body.  But Personally I am not a big fan of the outer look, I believe in “It does not show your creativity. ”

When you wear a dress that you want to wear it in the will, you build your confidence and increase your chances to achieve your dream look means your goals.

“The bigger Ego, the smaller the bank balance.”

5. Keep and appreciate your past success.
